On behalf of our Zeta Day planning committee, District 15B President Lisa Dierbeck, TC Alumnae VP of Programming Cara Neudigate, TC Alumnae Advisor Cynthia Courtney, I’d like to thank everyone who came out to support the 2010 Minnesota Zeta Day Celebration at the eclectic Loring Pasta Bar.  This year’s Zeta Day was one of many firsts for the Twin Cities – it was our first real open invitation to our friends and family, our first luncheon boutique with amazing vendors and our first time hosting ZTAF VP of Philanthropy Sherry Tilley!  A big part of all Zeta Days across the country is fundraising to support the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation. Our philanthropy supports breast cancer education and awareness programs, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Survivor’s Program and women’s leadership and development – through our boutique and individual ZTAF contributions, we helped make a difference in lives of many.  Thank you to our boutique vendors who helped make our Boutique Luncheon a success!  I look forward to sharing the results of our fundraising efforts and hope that you join us at our next event, Cheers to a Zeta New Year!  Please check our website often for pictures from the event!

Zeta love and all of mine,

Meghan A. Nelson
Twin Cities Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae Chapter President

THINKPINK

On October 5th, the Twin Cities Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae Chapter teamed up with the Minnesota Vikings and the Vikings Women’s Organization to tackle breast cancer. Members of the ZTA alumnae chapter along with their family and friends distributed thousands of pink ribbons to Viking and Packer fans!  We raised over $1,000 in donations for the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation and was awarded the Fans Helping Fans 2009 Community Service Award at the ESPN Chalk Talk luncheon which included a $2,000 donation from the NFL, bringing our total donations raised to over $3,000!

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  To our Zeta sisters and their family and friends who volunteered to make the 2009 THINK-PINK event a HUGE success!

A special thank you to Twin Cities Alumnae VP of Programming Cara Neudigate, District 15B President and Twin Cities Alumnae Member Lisa Dierbeck, National ZTA THINK-PINK! NFL Coordinator Vicki Griffith, Brad Madson and the rest of the staff at the Vikings!

Who are the Twin Cities ZTA Alumnae?

Since 1980, our chapter has been dedicated to serving ZTA alumnae of the Twin Cities. We are a group of talented women joined by the common bonds of sisterhood. From recent college graduates and career women to new moms and empty nesters, our membership runs the gamut.

Despite the diversity of our group, the bond of ZTA unites us. Whether it’s singing a traditional fraternity song at our Founders’ Day celebration or giggling as we share fun collegiate memories, Zeta remains in our hearts forever. We work hard to embrace the ZTA spirit through events and activities that focus on community service, fundraising and socializing.

Whether you look forward to attending every event of the year or only have the time to catch up with us at Zeta Day, there’s a place for you in our alumnae chapter.
